If you have space, a great way to keep chickens is to have a coop enclosed by an electric fence. This way, you don’t have to shut up the chickens at night or let them out in the morning and it gives the chickens more space to roam. This is an extremely effective deterrent to foxes and other predators which we ourselves rely on to keep our chickens safe. A further advantage is that a fence can easily be moved to a new location, allowing the ground to rest. |

For those of you who are new to electric fencing, we have created two different kits (depending on mains or battery supply) which include ALL the essential parts to contain your chickens effectively—there are NO hidden extras you will need. We do have some optional extras, like corner posts and warning lights which you can purchase separately. For those of you who already have some electrical fencing set up (for horses for example), we do sell each of the parts separately so you can purchase only what you need. All our products are tried out by us and selected to offer good quality at a reasonable price, we avoid low quality goods from the cheaper end of the market. |
